Synopsis: Bertram, (Ricky Gervais), is a man lacking in people skills who dies unexpectedly. However, when he is miraculously revived he finds he is not alone. He can see and talk to ghosts who pester him into doing things for him that they have left undone. One ghost, Frank, (Greg Kinnear), pesters him into breaking up the impending marriage of his ex-wife Gwen (Téa Leoni). This pits Bertram in a comedic triangle between Frank and Gwen.
