This workshop is all about the anatomy of a pitch...whether it's your your television series or your services. What does a pitch meeting actually look like - how to read the room, how to pitch with a partner, how to answer any question.....What does it really take to make a powerful pitch? What are the pitfalls to avoid at all cost? How can you master the art of pitching with your own style, personality and brand? This workshop will give you the agent's top 10 tips for pitching with conviction and results. Tips on how to prepare, how to 

read the person your pitching, how to pitch as a team, how to engage, how to anticipate every question. If you ever wondered what it really takes to do a successful pitch, this workshop is for you.

Jim Arnoff is a Television Packaging Agent representing New York production companies (reality, documentary, non-fiction, scripted) in developing and selling original programming to the networks. He is an entertainment lawyer and Certified Life/Career Coach to the entertainment industry. Jim worked at the William Morris Agency as both an in-house lawyer and packaging agent. He leads workshops for the Producers Guild of America, National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Writers Guild of America/East and West, TimeWarner, New York Women in Film & Television, Veterans in Film & Television, Film Fatales, Time, Inc. and NYU. Jim is a faculty member of the School of Visual Arts, FIT and NYU. Jim also provides consulting services to creatives in the entertainment industry (starting your own production company, shaping your pitch, networking, accessing industry executives, branding).
