Topic: “Packaging Original Programming for Television: The Agent’s Perspective”

This hands-on intensive course will provide a detailed overview of the specific steps to create, develop, gain network access and pitch reality/non-fiction, scripted and animation programming. This course is geared towards entrepreneurial producers who want the insider’s take on the step-by-step process to assemble the key programming elements, produce a compelling pitchtape, explore alternative development avenues, engage the right agent and pitch with results. Industry professionals will provide their first-hand experience in effective packaging including production companies, showrunners, casting directors and network development executives.  Key agreements involved with packaging will be covered together with essential deal terms. This course will offer a command of the packaging world, the key players and how to pull it all together.
