Glenda D. Shaw is the author of Better You Better Friends: A Whole New Approach to Friendship, which was published by Rowman and Littlefield in September 2021. In this book Shaw looks at experiences with friends in light of academic studies, which ultimately challenged some preconceived notions about friendship. Shaw’s takeaway was that if you become a better friend to others, you attract healthier friendships.


Prior to researching and writing her book, Glenda produced television talk shows in Los Angeles and New York for companies including Viacom, MTV, King World. She also ventured into talk radio, producing a three-hour live morning talk show with host Rolonda Watts, for Greenstone Media--the first all-female talk radio network in the U.S. She’s a two-time nominated Daytime Emmy producer / writer, and a member of the Writers Guild of America, the Producers Guild of America, and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Barry Collodi, PhD in Psychology, was Director of Training & Development for Automatic Data Processing (ADP), where he developed and delivered programs internationally in the areas of long term and strategic planning, management skills, team building, presentation skills, leadership, interpersonal skills and creativity.


During his career, Barry has provided training and consulting services for such diverse companies as American Express, CitiCorp, Disney, Novartis, The Body Shop, Ruder Finn, Dow Jones, Nasdaq, Edelman Worldwide, Cirque du Soleil and Pfizer. His non-profit clients have included Doctors Without Borders and World Wide Orphans.


Barry’s professional coaching skills have been used in both one-on-one executive training and group seminars, in which he highlights key interpersonal skills and individual/team strategies. In his sessions, Barry focuses on fear of speaking, dealing with diversity requirements, and how to be creative and effective in delivering message, motivation and urgency.
