He has released two solo albums – Wearing Someone Else’s Clothes (2005) and How We React and How We Recover (2018) – and tours the world as a performer, either solo or with his band or with symphony orchestras.

LARRY HOCHMAN’s 40-year career as composer, orchestrator and arranger encompasses television, theatre, film, recordings, concerts, and video games. He has received five Emmys® as Lead Composer for Nickelodeon’s The Wonder Pets! He has orchestrated over 100 shows including: Spamalot, The Addams FamilyPippin, The Scottsboro Boys, Jane Eyre, Something Rotten, Hello Dolly, and The Prom and has received the Tony Award for The Book of Mormon, two Drama Desk Awards, and The Outer Critics Circle Award for Hello Dolly.


This past year he received his 9th Tony Award Nomination, for his orchestration of Kiss Me Kate and his 9th Emmy nomination, as composer for PBS’s Peg + Cat. His orchestrations for 18 films include Disney’s Lady and the Tramp II, Marvin Hamlisch’s The Informant! and Netflix’s Over the Moon.


He has arranged for Paul McCartney, Eric Idle, Mandy Patinkin, Audra McDonald, Maury Yeston, Michael Feinstein, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Barry Manilow, Marvin Hamlisch, Hugh Jackman, Bernadette Peters, Betty Buckley, The Boston Pops Orchestra, The San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, The New York Philharmonic, and The Big Apple Circus.


He has written and/or produced hundreds of commercials, including “I’m a Toys ‘R’ Us Kid” and has received 2 Clio Awards. Larry received Manhattan School of Music’s Distinguished Alumni Award and is a member of The Cast of Beatlemania.

SILA SHAMAN is a composer and pianist whose work spans a variety of genres including music for film and TV, theater, dance, jazz, concert and experimental music. Her recent score for the documentary Sisters in Freedom has received two 2019 Mid-Atlantic Emmy® Awards, for Musical Composition and Audio. Her debut jazz album, A New Abode, was an album of the week pick by NPR.


An alumnus of the NYU/ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop and BMI Composing for the Screen Mentorship Program, her screen and stage credits include music for the play Terrotica, by Brad Krumholz; scores for Catskill Chainsaw Redemption, a short film by J.R. Havlan of “The Daily Show with John Stewart”; the documentary First American Art; the musical satire Spin, with book and lyrics by John Frohnmayer, featuring David Ogden Stiers; the documentary 9/11:10 Years Later for History Channel; the short film, A Character Story, by cartoonist Liana Finck; the musical Brindlebeast, with book and lyrics by Anita Riggio; and TV pilot Perception by PJ Posner.

BILL SHERMAN won the 2008 Tony Award for Best Orchestrations for In the Heights and the 2008 Grammy Award as the co-producer of the In The Heights Original Broadway Cast Album. He also won the 2011 Emmy® Award for Outstanding Original Song-Children’s and Animation for Sesame Street’s “What I Am” …

BILL SHERMAN won the 2008 Tony Award for Best Orchestrations for In the Heights and the 2008 Grammy Award as the co-producer of the In The Heights Original Broadway Cast Album. He also won the 2011 Emmy® Award for Outstanding Original Song-Children’s and Animation for Sesame Street’s “What I Am” and the 2014 Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Song-Children’s and Animation for Sesame Street’s “The Power of Yet” as well as the 2018 Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Song-Children’s and Animation for Sesame Street’s “A Song About Songs” featuring Sia.


He was also nominated for a 2009 Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music for the theme music to AMC’s “Storymakers.” Bill is the Music Director of Sesame Street, The Electric Company, and Nature Cat on PBS and HBO. Recently, he produced the Hamilton Original Broadway Cast Album with The Roots for Atlantic Records for which he won a 2016 Grammy Award.


He also composed the music for All Things Must Pass, a documentary about the rise and fall of Tower Records directed by Colin Hanks. He is a co-host of Questlove Supreme on Pandora with Ahmir Thompson of the Roots and Phonte Coleman of Little Brother.


Currently, he is music supervising & Juliet, a musical featuring the songs of Max Martin at The Shaftsbury Theater in London’s West End. He is composing Fly, with Director Jeffrey Seller, premiering at the La Jolla Playhouse. Additionally, he is Executive Music Producer for “In the Heights” for Warner Brothers Pictures directed by Jon Chu and “Tick, Tick, Boom” for Netflix, directed by Lin-Manuel Miranda.


He is a proud member of NY's premier hip-hop, improv and comedy group, Freestyle Love Supreme that traveled to the Aspen, Edinburgh, Melbourne and Montreal comedy festivals and has just completed a Broadway run. He is a graduate of Wesleyan University.
