The black-tie gala held at the Marriott Marquis began with an exciting reception where nominees and revelers enjoyed conversation and cocktails.

The legendary broadcaster, Mike Wallace, received a standing ovation as he took his position on stage. Earlier in the evening we revealed that he was an Emmy® winner at our 1st Annual New York Emmy® Awards! During his opening he recalled that night saying he was “nervous, apprehensive and finally damned happy!”
